Travel to school in a sustainable way

We know morning drop offs to school can be a busy time for many parents and carers and here at Waltham Forest, we want to make travelling to and from school as easy as possible for our families.

Travelling to school sustainably, whether on foot, scooter or cycle is a great option and has huge benefits not only for your family, but for the wider community. Walking, cycling or scooting to school can encourage children to be energised and empowered, and we want it to become your natural choice for travelling to school.

Our team have created some useful walking maps, to help you choose the quickest and safest routes to school. So far, we've created walking maps for Mission Grove, Jenny Hammond and Davies Lane Primary School which you can download on the right hand side of this page.
