Leyton Midsummer

Following the success of the Midsummer Festival in 2014, the whole family can celebrate summer at this year’s Midsummer Festival in Leyton Jubilee Park.

Join us for an eclectic range of Eastern European music and delicious food and drink plus a variety of family friendly activities, arts, and entertainment for all ages.

Dash Arts will also be creating a beautiful furnished Dacha with its own garden, a boiling samovar, books, pickles and bread on the kitchen table. Throughout the afternoon guests will be welcomed and taken through the 20th century with key activities including:

  • A Poetry and music performance from the Silver Age by Sasha Ilukyvich
  • A talk and food demonstration cooks and food historians Katrina and Karina from Russian Revels
  • A participative music workshop with Elena Dana​
