Cycle to work this summer
THIS SUMMER GIVE CYCLING A GO AND USE YOUR BIKE TO GET TO WORK
With the Victoria Line closed between Walthamstow Central and Seven Sisters from 8 to 30 August it’s the perfect time to try cycling. Whether you’re dusting down your own bike or looking to hire some wheels, we want to help and are offering:
TEMPORARY BIKE HIRE SCHEME PROVIDED BY BROMPTON BIKE HIRE
- 25 folding bikes available for hire
- Available at Walthamstow Central station from Mon 10 Aug to Wed 16 Sept

FREE GUIDED COMMUTER CYCLE RIDES BY WALTHAM FOREST CYCLING
- Join experienced cyclists to learn the route and ride safely to Finsbury Park or Stratford Stations

- New cycle parking sheds at Leytonstone and Walthamstow tube stations

FREE DR. BIKE SESSIONS
- Dr. Bike will be offering free bike checks and minor repairs this weekend (8 and 9 August) at Town Square Gardens, next to Walthamstow Central Station, from 10am to 4pm each day.
- The experienced mechanics will check over all the main components of your bike, and carry out any needed adjustments and lubrication.
- By the end of the checks your bike will feel cared for and ready to ride from Walthamstow to Seven Sisters – and beyond!
